  Over the course of the past 10 years (and many thousands of dollars), most of their counter staff, including primarily the doctors wife, have consistantly treated me very poorly. I only kept returning because I did like the Doctor. Now the Doctor will not return my calls (I suspect his unpleasant wife is not giving him the messages). His wife is the worst possible person to have representing his business. I have decided I will not return, and I recommend no one else does unless you want to be treated poorly by his miserable wife, and their other primary miserable counter help. I have never complained untill recently, and the doctors wife clearly does not care, and will not let me speak to him.

  We started going to Montclair Animal Hospital by accident, looking up a vet for our little hamster, Speedy. After getting a dog, we continued to go there, and not only are they personable and professional, they treat you like family. We now have four dogs, all Chihuahuas, and we have been going there for almost ten years now. We have had occasion to go to other vets for emergencies, but we always come back to Dr. Vernon and his staff at the Montclair Animal Hospital because of the personalized service. They always call to let us know the results of any tests, Dr. Vernon is very patient about explaining anything you have concerns about, and they remind us of any shots, wellness exams, or any other requirements to keep our pets healthy. I don't know of any other doctor that does that. If there were 6 stars, I would easily rate them a 6.
